The gallery is founded in San Diego, CA by four physicians who are also visual artists with the goal of showcasing non-conformist artists with bold perspectives about the human body and quintessential human experiences and emotions. The gallery is focused on supporting local artists in addition to introducing artists from US and around the world with visionary and in your face attitudes - this is not a usual art gallery. 

Each year we present between seven to eight exhibitions, many accompanied by original publications. We have openings every six weeks or so and, for the most part, an ice cream truck will be present on site for the events. 

What's in the name?

As physicians, we have to assign a level of service (LOS) after our visit with the patients for billing/insurance purposes based on a very convoluted algorithm - usually the computer does that for us. The levels go from 1 to 5, 1 for the simplest visit to 5 for a very complicated visit. When the level of service is not required (LOS/NR), such as in the case of our gallery, it is out of love.
